The last couple of months have seen us finish writing and start recording a new album, a follow-up to last years Hymns & Ghosts. Whereas Hymns and Ghosts was written around 2009 and then honed on the road for several years before we eventually released it, we haven't quite had that luxury with this new album. However, as we've had a studio to rehearse in over the last year, that has meant we've been able to play these songs in a 'live' context until we were happy with them. Recording has started and everything is sounding great. We've got enough material for a complete album, plus a separate 7" record. Keep your eyes peeled for further details, I'll no doubt leak a link of one of the new tracks soon. In the mean time, we'll be playing the new material at all future shows, which neatly leads me onto the next topic and some very exciting news.
