No Rain

Saturday 17th saw us hurtling Northwards bound for a secret destination to pick up our rain stick, which was being looked after by the debonair Lee Ashcroft of Dead Air Recordings. From there our route took us to the wilds and wolds of Suffolk, down winding lanes, past thorny hedgerows and finally to the small village of Hasketon and the Turks Head pub.

The line-up was amazing with a mixture of past acquaintances and a number of artists new to us. In no particular order those who played were thus: The Doomed Bird of Providence, Sons of Joy, Dead Rat Orchestra, Plantman, Halo Halo, Oh Dear, Fuzzy Lights, Model Village, The Ragged String Band and C. Joynes.

Some photos Emma took of the bands throughout the day:

A big Thank You to the organisers for letting us play and arranging such a great event; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves despite being a bit bushwacked from the night before. We even got given a conker by a small boy who seemed to dance through every bands sets, I'm sure he slept well that night.
