After an extra day spent admiring the sights of Lyon and enjoying the good company of my origami making host, I jumped on a train to Albi, a pictoresque town situated on the River Tam which flows rich and brown through a valley that cuts like scar across the city. A huge Gothic Cathedral dominates the skyline, its high, blank walls force your eyes higher and higher as you attempt to take in this gigantic structure.
I played in the garden with a beautiful bamboo backdrop. The evening was warm and sultry, but not uncomfortable. Various wonderful food items were brought by the audience to create a spread which, combined with the warmth of the evening, created a party-like atmosphere that it was a joy to play in.
